About Eric Cunningham

Eric joined Pinsly Railroad Company in September of 2023 as the Assistant Vice
President of Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, he is responsible for sales and
marketing, industrial and economic development, customer relationships, and growth for
Pinsly Railroads FGA, PVRR & RDS, and GAR railroads.
Prior to joining Pinsly Eric served as Assistant Vice President of Industrial Products for
four and a half years at Plastic Express, which is a global logistics company that
specializes in Bulk Trucking, Warehousing, Packaging, Transload, and Port Drayage.
Before working at Plastic Express, Eric worked for CSX Transportation for 24 years. In
his last role at CSX, Eric served as Director of Sales for the Forest and Paper, Metals,
Military, Machinery & Equipment sales teams responsible for revenues of over $1.5B. In
his 24 years at CSX, Eric worked in Service Management, Customer Service, and Sales
and Marketing in various roles.
Eric served on the Board of Directors for the Northwest YMCA of Atlanta for over seven
years, where he served as Vice Chair. He also served as Committee Chair of the Opioid
and Heroin Awareness Committee. In this capacity, Eric worked with the YMCA and its
local communities to bring awareness of the dangers of opioid dependency and heroin
addiction. Eric currently serves on the Board of the Southeast Association of Rail
Shippers.
Eric holds an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and a
Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University.
He and his wife Deana have three children and split their time between Dallas, GA and
St. Augustine Beach, FL.
