About Chad Hanna

Chad Hanna serves as the Product Manager, CarLogix and Asset Management at TransmetriQ, a Railinc brand in Cary, NC. TransmetriQ leverages direct access to the most accurate, up-to-date rail data. By combining the highest quality data with advanced data science and an experienced rail industry team, TransmetriQ delivers freight rail insights that make managing rail operations easier.

Chad has over 13 years experience in rail transportation and logistics focused on rail visibility and optimization, railcar repair billing, and data analytics. Chad is a fourth-generation railroader with previous Norfolk Southern experience and traces his family's history back to the Pennsylvania Railroad.  He has extensive experience working with railroads of various sizes, shippers, and transportation logistics companies.

Chad earned his B.A. in History at James Madison University and his MBA at Southern New Hampshire University.  Chad is the current Secretary for SEARS and looks forward to continuing to enhance the Association's growth.
